3M™ 2525 is a 9.5 mil orange flatback paper tape with a rubber-based adhesive engineered for industrial applications where backing strength and heat resistance are non-negotiable. The moisture-resistant paper construction resists tearing under tension, and the high-visibility orange color supports quick identification on busy production lines.
The tape's 300°F heat tolerance for up to one hour makes it a reliable choice for powder coating ovens, paint baking cycles, and thermal masking processes. Beyond heat applications, it performs well for bundling, splicing, holding, and surface masking in manufacturing, automotive finishing, and electronics assembly environments.
Each roll is 9.5 mil thick with a rubber adhesive that bonds firmly to a range of surfaces. This tape is not recommended for outdoor use or prolonged direct sunlight exposure, as adhesive removal becomes significantly more difficult over time. Cases contain 24 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
