3M™ 2525 Flatback Tape is a 9.5 mil orange flatback paper tape with a rubber-based adhesive engineered for demanding holding, splicing, masking, and bundling tasks. The paper backing resists tearing and maintains integrity under mechanical tension, distinguishing it from lighter-duty flatback options.
The 300°F one-hour temperature rating makes this tape a practical choice for powder coating prep, paint masking, and heat-process assembly lines. High-visibility orange aids inspection and line identification in manufacturing and warehousing environments. The backing is moisture resistant, though the tape is not suited for outdoor use or prolonged UV exposure, where adhesive removal can become difficult.
Tape is 9.5 mil thick with a rubber adhesive that bonds firmly to a variety of surfaces. Each case contains 6 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
