3M™ 346 Heavy Duty Protective Tape is an 18-inch wide, 60-yard roll of tan flatback paper tape built for demanding surface protection. At 16.7 mil thick, its rubber adhesive bonds to metal and plastic surfaces while the weather-resistant paper backing holds up in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
This tape is well-suited for fabrication, transit, storage, and installation workflows in manufacturing, metalworking, construction, and general industrial settings — anywhere temporary protection of finished or in-process surfaces is required. The clean-removal formulation is especially valuable in masking applications where surface integrity cannot be compromised.
The adhesive is engineered to release without residue for up to six months when applied between 60°F and 100°F. Each roll weighs approximately 18.7 lbs and is sold individually as a single unit.
