Minigrip® Lab Guard® UV Protection Bags are 3 mil amber-tinted polyethylene reclosable bags engineered specifically for light-sensitive contents. The amber film limits light transmission to no more than 10% at any wavelength between 290nm and 450nm, meeting USP XXII and USP XXIII Procedure 66.1 compliance standards — a critical distinction from general-purpose tinted poly bags that carry no verified UV attenuation rating.
These bags are well suited for pharmaceutical storage and dispensing, laboratory sample handling, photosensitive chemicals, photographic film, and light-sensitive electronic or optical components.
